Seva Sadan’s College of Education is one of the oldest and premier college of Education established in 1966 to actualize the mission of providing quality teacher education. Seva Sadan’s College of Education strives to contribute towards developing tomorrow’s teachers equipped with the values of compassion and commitment.

The College is located at a nodal point amidst schools and colleges and various learning centres. It networks with multiple stakeholders and extends its services even to the deprived and under privileged sections of the society. While discovering new ways of making education accessible, reachable and available to all, the focus of social justice, equity and inclusion is never lost.

I, as the present I/C Principal, take the honour of carrying on the legacy of the torch bearers of Seva Sadan’s College of Education, who have worked towards making this College a portal of innovative and empowering teacher education. As we move forward, we strive towards cultivating grounded reflective practices, contributing towards the ever-evolving hub of knowledge. The Faculty are the pillars of the College. They are each unique and potential agents of social change fulfilling the mission and vision statement of the Institute in their own resourceful way. The student teachers are inspired to raise their bars of excellence.
